Beijing Yihang Yuanzhi Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2015, focusing on independent research and development of autonomous driving systems. Yihang Intelligence is one of the earliest autonomous driving startups in China. The company obtained the first autonomous driving Tier 1 mass production project as early as 2016, and has completed the mass production of 100,000 vehicles so far. At the same time, the driving data accumulated by Yihang Intelligence has exceeded 1 billion kilometers. The company has become one of the few autonomous driving suppliers in the industry with full-stack self-research capabilities in perception, decision planning and control, software and hardware development, testing, and calibration. It has taken the lead in implementing high-level functions such as NOA-AVP Integration and urban full-scenario FSD.
The team members of Yihang Intelligence are mainly from domestic and foreign OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, top scientific research institutions in China and abroad, and world-renowned universities such as UC Berkeley and Cambridge. Yihang's R&D team is proficient in core algorithms of perception, decision-making, Vehicle control, and fault diagnosis. The main products of Yihang Intelligence include autonomous driving solutions (ADAS, NOA, FSD), domain controllers, camera modules, driving algorithms and software. The company has Beijing R&D center, Suzhou R&D center and factory, and Gu'an test base.
Mr. Chen Yuhang, the Founder and CEO of Beijing Yihang Yuanzhi Technology Co., Ltd, has a PhD degree in vehicle engineering from the Jilin University. Mr. Chen is under the guidance of Academician Guo Konghui from Jilin University and the Professor J. Karl Hedrick from UC Berkeley as well as a member of American Academy of Engineering. Mr. Chen is proficient in vehicle dynamics and control, driver modeling and vehicle fault diagnosis. During his study in the United States, he was responsible for the vehicle intelligent control projects in the VDL and MPC laboratories, and has participated in Toyota North America R&D projects and Volvo R&D projects; In China, he has been responsible for several large-scale chassis integrated control projects and subjects, and has more than 30 invention patents. Also, Mr. Chen is currently a reviewer of 7 top international automotive academic journals and has published many professional papers.
